TAGZ1 didn’t start as a brand. It started as frustration.
TAGZ1 is an independent creative studio in Las Vegas where handmade handbags, original paintings, wearable art, and new projects are built by hand, one at a time.
Las Vegas was surrounded by luxury —
but none of it belonged here.
Everything was stamped New York. Paris. Italy.
Nothing was made by someone who lived here.
Then I witnessed a so-called luxury bag come apart.
That was the moment.
I decided to build something that didn’t rely on logos, trends, or permission. Something made by hand. Something obsessed over. Something built to last because it mattered to the person carrying it.
I learned pattern making because I didn’t want borrowed shapes. I sourced my own hides because materials decide the outcome. I built everything myself because control matters.
The handbags, the paintings, and every project come from the same place. The same hands. The same instinct. The same refusal to dilute the work.
None of this was easy. I doubted it would work. I questioned whether anyone would care.
Then people did. Not everyone — the right ones.
TAGZ1 exists for people who know what they want and don’t need approval to want it.
Built in Las Vegas. By hand. On purpose.
